Montréal, QC, Canada
Is the conference in English?
Yes, the 2016 edition is in English until happy hour… then we switch to Pig Latin! If you've never been to Quebec, we should note that Canada has two official languages and most Montréal residents speak fluent French and English.
Who produces this event?
GCUC was brought to Canada by Ashley Proctor. The GCUC Canada team is a part of the global GCUC network, and each conference is produced locally. Visit the ABOUT page for more information.
Is there a dress code?
No, but we will take your picture! Dress comfortably and be yourself. Just bring your thinking cap for the conference and your fancy-dancey-pants for the closing party!
Does the conference ticket include meals?
Yes! Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided on Day One & Day Two. You will have the opportunity to purchase your own meals on Day Three.

Of course there is! If this is your first time at GCUC, you’ll learn quickly that we work hard AND play hard! Check the agenda for more details!

No, content is exclusively for the attendees.
What airport should I fly into?
Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport
Where should I stay in Montréal?
To be nearby the conference venue, try staying downtown (Centre Ville) or in charming Old Montréal (Vieux-Montréal). If you want to get away from the downtown core, try staying in the Plateau (Plateau Mont-Royal) or in Mile End.
Airbnb is a great way to experience Montréal like a local!
Try reaching out through the GCUC Canada Facebook page if you are looking for roommates during the conference.
What’s the best way to get around the city?
Montréal’s public transit is fantastic. You can also easily find a taxi. Much of the city is walkable from the downtown core. Parking is available for a fee at the conference venue.
Will we have the chance to visit coworking spaces?
Absolutely! On Day Three we offer tours of collaborative workspaces and special attractions the city has to offer. Exploring Montréal with your new friends and our team of passionate ambassadors will be a lot of fun!
