Stephanie Renee Bermudez

Stephanie is a gifted community builder, understanding the nuances of human behavior and how to encourage positive interactions. Her innovative ideas create environments that expand on relationships to encourage collaboration and co-inspiration while allowing for individual productivity. Stephanie focuses on building up shared spaces, including training, consulting and research and is Program Manager for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy with the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, where she organizes a year-long program that transforms middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. She has a successful background developing coworking and maker spaces having previously developed Connect Coworking and RAIL YARD, both in Tucson, Arizona. Stephanie is also actively involved with Co+Hoot in Phoenix, Arizona, ranked among the 10 best coworking space in the world where she is Business Model Canvas Coach for their foundation’s Level Up Program. In addition, Stephanie holds a board of governors seat for COSHARE: The National Coworking Association, where she has developed an internship program and soon will be launching a tool box for shared spaces to implement their own internship programs. Stephanie is passionate about shaping binational business opportunities with Latin America and the United States and recently spoke at the Ole Wow Sales and Marketing Forum in Cali, Colombia, South America on “How Coworking Can Open The Door To United States Markets”.

In May 2015 she was recognized by TEDxStarrPassWomen as a Local Leader and in December 2014 Stephanie received the “Emerging Leader Award” from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management during their “Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things” networking event.
